SYNOPSIS: Buenos Aires 1947. On the radio there is a parliament’s debate about women’s possibility to vote. Deputies claim that the woman is inferior to the men and that’s why she must not decide the future of their country. Maria is waiting for her mother to come back from work but she doesn’t. I enjoyed the visual style of this story which is still extremely relevant today. It's not an action packed film but the slow unfolding of events seen through the eyes of the child has a memory like quality that is beautiful.
