SYNOPSIS: Tandem riders Shawn Cheshire and Mackenzie Woodring chat with host Tricia Downing about how they made it to the Paralympic competitions in Rio. After being injured while deployed and gradually losing her sight, Shawn decided to experiment with riding a Tandem. Because of her willingness to explore uncharted territory and take risks, Shawn was able to build a support network and facilitate her training for the Paralympic Games in Rio.
