Ellie Hodgetts is an award-winning filmmaker from Birmingham, UK. She is interested primarily in creating films which shine a light on social injustice and human rights violations, and is particularly motivated to make films focusing on women's voices and the LGBTQ+ community. Ellie directed and edited We Are Here during her final year of her Documentary Filmmaking Master’s.

With a background in print journalism and media freedom activism, Peter Townson has always harboured a passion for storytelling. Having worked in the Middle East for ten years, Peter recently relocated to the UK to study documentary filmmaking at the Northern Film School. With a passion for understanding different cultures and lifestyles, Pete aims to provide insight into other ways of life in his work, hoping to contribute towards correcting misconceptions.
