Terril Calder is a Indigenous Canadian filmmaker from the Métis Nation. She was a founding founding member of Toronto's International Performance Art festival 7a*11d and with Winnipeg's Student Bolshevik fine art group. Her Films have received honourable mentions from both Sundance and Berlin and have been selected for Tiff's Top Ten shorts list twice and nominated for a Canadian Genie Award in 2011. She was awarded the Ontario Arts Council's K.M Hunter award in 2016.

Canadian novelist and short story writer. His first novel, Three Day Road, won the Amazon/Books in Canada First Novel Award and the Rogers Writers' Trust Fiction Prize. His second novel, Through Black Spruce, won the 2008 Scotiabank Giller Prize, and his third book, The Orenda, was named the winner of the 2014 edition of Canada Reads.
