Curtis is an Emmy-nominated independent screenwriter and director who also works as a producer and cinematographer and who once had a beer with Werner Herzog. His work has screened at dozens of film festivals around the world. Curtis holds an M.A. in Media Arts and Technology from Michigan State University with a concentration in Television, Cinema, and Radio, a minor in Film Studies.
