SYNOPSIS: Make Ups is a collage of a day in the lives of the protagonists living in Mumbai. The characters are on real life persons. The aging actress is schizoid-paranoid, the gay typist transcribes medical lectures in a decrepit office, and the prostitute loves her work in spite of the sleaze. They are depicted in search of their utopias even though they lead mundane lives. The aging beauty’s character is inspired by the life of Parveen Babi, a famous Bollywood actress, who died tragically. Zeenat Aman,
