There are so many different cultures in the world, but somehow, all these diverse cultures have something in common – we all seem to love superheroes.

This is because many of us dream of being one of the superheroes in the comic books or movies we see.

Today, we have so many superhero movies that entertain us on the big screen that it hard to decide which one is the best.

Here is a top 10 list of our favorite superhero movies. Some viewers may not agree with the order, but we are sure that your favorite made it to the list.

1. Captain America: Civil War

In Captain America: Civil war, almost all of our favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes put in an appearance.

The main story, however, revolves around the personal struggle of Captain America. Captain America’s mission is to ensure freedom, justice, and to generally do good the American way.  A conflict starts when legislation is passed forcing all the superheroes to work under the government supervision.

While Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man, agrees with the law, Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, has different views about it.  Then a civil war begins.

2. Avengers: Infinity War

Marvel made this movie as a dramatic finale for the 18 movies that featured superheroes it created.

The movie’s story is about loyalty and team-ups, family and community, and unselfish love.  All the top superheroes work together to try to defend human life against the ultimate villain, Thanos.

3. Iron Man

Iron Man would not be Iron Man without Robert Downey Jr. who played Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man. His wit and charm made the movie a global franchise.

The story follows the journey on which Tony Stark will become a hero. After he is kidnapped, Tony Stark is forced to construct a suit to save his life.

4. Spider-Man 2

Spider-Man 2 is the sequel which brings out the most out of its superhero. In this sequel, the young Peter Parker is struggling with his life as a hero and his past as a simple man.

The sequel is more entertaining than the first movie. Tobey Maguire shines and the fight scenes are amazing. Doctor Octopus is a great villain.

5. Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is a story of an Amazon princess, Diana.  The film is a landmark moment for the empowerment of women. It achieved its goal of showing that a woman is just as capable of saving the world as a man.

Gal Gadot is excellent in the role of the Amazon Princess, Diana.  The movie is action-packed and has some fantastic effects.

The story too, is well-written.  The setting of the story shows a world lead by powerful men.  Wonder Woman is forced to break free of this world in order to save it.

6. Avengers

What happens when you gather together all the mightiest superheroes into one movie?  You get a team of superheroes called The Avengers.

The Avengers movie is a interesting evolution of the superhero movie. It draws attention to the power of teamwork and the challenges we must overcome to work together well.

Each hero has different views and principles.  At first, they have conflicts and arguments.  But because of one goal and one cause, they finally manage to work together.  The team settle their differences and fight as one to save the world.

7. Black Panther

The Black Panther character was introduced in the movie Captain America: Civil War.  The story is centered on the struggle of an African King to defend his throne, his family, and his community from the villain known as Killmonger.

King T’Challa’s father, the former king of Wakanda, died in Captain America: Civil War.  Wakanda is a highly progressive society with the most advanced technologies.  King T’Challa a.k.a. Black Panther must do everything in his power to save it.

8. The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight sees the return of the comic character Batman.  It is a sequel to Batman Begins, a imaginative new take on the Batman saga, which delighted fans all around the world.

The plot of the story sees Gotham City being attacked by villains and Batman battling to save the city. Batman finds himself having to overcome inner demons and become increasingly immoral to try to defeat the mysterious Joker.

9. Guardians of the Galaxy

In the Guardians of the Galaxy, a team of superheroes battles to save the galaxy from their ultimate nemesis, Thanos.   One huge difference is that the film’s setting is in the outer space.

The bizarre cast of characters is out of this world. It includes a talking raccoon known as Rocket Raccoon and a moving tree known as Groot.  Chris Pratt shines in the role well as the Star-Lord. The movie is entertaining for both the kids and the adults.

10. Logan

Logan is the last movie in which Hugh Jackman appeared as Wolverine, a clawed mutant superhero.  Hugh Jackman always wanted his last Wolverine movie to be climactic and unforgettable, he succeeded. Logan is a movie of a weary and aged superhero who trys to save himself as well as the people around him.

In this movie, he finds his daughter, Laura, who is still in awe of her powers.  He is also forced to take care of Professor X, while he struggles to protect them.
